Why do we send free gifts to our customers?
Because we truly care about them and want them to have a great impression of our products, our brand, and us as a company.
Since I decided to step into the wig business, I’ve realized that besides offering high-quality wig products and fast yet reasonably priced shipping, providing thoughtful free gifts is also very important.
I didn’t search online for gift ideas, because many suggestions out there are either outdated or too common. I know that many wig sellers include items like hairpins, hair nets, or other hair-related accessories. However, in my opinion, these should be considered basic items that come with the product package—not as “free gifts.”
I want our gifts to truly surprise our customers.
After thinking about it for a few days, I decided to visit several wholesale makeup markets in my city. I believed I could find some specially designed, attractive, and practical small items for our customers.
A good free gift should be:
- Lightweight and compact (to avoid extra shipping costs)
- Safe (no metal or liquid that could damage the wigs during transit)
- Beautifully designed and interesting
- Useful in daily life
- Ideally beauty-related, since wigs and beauty naturally go hand in hand
After two days of searching locally, I only found a few suitable items—perhaps my standards were a bit too strict.
Here are the items I selected that I believe work well for the wig business:
- False eyelashes (individually packaged)
- Small powder puff
- Double eyelid stickers
- DIY eye mask sheets
All four of these beauty items meet my expectations for free gifts in the wig business. I’m very satisfied with the final selection.
